ABOUT
The Western Review was established in 2008 with the intention of providing quality reviews and information relating to as many Westerns as possible, from Oscar winners, genre-makers and genre-breakers, to Italowesterns, American B-pictures and long lost telemovies.
If you have recently stumbled upon the site you may not be aware that The Western Review has, unfortunately, been on an extensive hiatus. If you are aware of this: my apologies for the boredom! A number of other writing commitments have interfered in my ability to produce new material. New pieces are being gradually added, however—most recently a review of Lawrence Kasdan’s 1994 drama Wyatt Earp (1994), starring Kevin Costner as the legendary lawman, as well as Dennis Quaid as Doc Holliday.
THE WHO
The Western Review is maintained by Dominic Lennard, who founded the site in June 2008. Particularly in light of the recent slowdown in content, please note that review contributions are continually welcome. If you are interested in contributing a review please write to admin@western-review.com. See the “About” page for more information on submissions.
